Group sessions are for people who have had a stroke, brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, or other neurodegenerative diseases

Join Us on Zoom

The sessions run weekly on Zoom and they last 1 hour. Sessions are free of charge .
Each group includes 5/6 participants and 2 facilitators . The facilitators are speech and language therapist students.
The sessions are about conversation topics, music/movie quizzes, word finding activities, fun facts, news, discussing videos together, etc.
It is a very positive experience and a safe space to practice your communication strategies and socialise with others!

The Aphasia iCafe offers a secure environment where patients can enhance their communication strategies and conversational skills while enjoying social interactions with others.

The group facilitators will provide you with monthly updates regarding your patient’s progress. Complete the referral form below and send it via email.
